Even though Mrs. Potter has been in the Robertson County District her whole life of teaching, this will be her first year at JBHSMrs. Potter taught at Springfield for 11 years, Greenbrier for 1 semester, and East Robertson for 1 semester. Mrs. Potter said that she wants to teach here until she possibly retires. She  graduated high school from Springfield. Then she got her Bachelor's of Science from Austin Peay and got her Master's in Education from Concordia University.

Mrs. Potter implied that her favorite part of her job is to see her students learn and succeed. Her experience so far at JBHS has been great and she loves it here. She also commented, "I like Jo Byrns because it is smaller than other schools in Robertson County and it has less people."

She is excited about all of the sports that we have to offer and can't wait to watch them. Her favorite thing about our school is how small it is and how low of a student count we have.  Mrs. Potter said that the main reason she moved to teach at JBHS was because she wanted a change. Mrs. Potter is married has one cat and three dogs. Make sure you welcome her when you see her in the hallways!
