ROBERTSON COUNTY MANUFACTURING LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE 2018-19 CLASS

The Robertson County Chamber of Commerce and the Robertson County Economic Development Board are partnering with Robertson County Schools to host the Robertson County Manufacturing Leadership Experience. The program will gather some of our future manufacturing leaders and show them the different aspects of Robertson County industry. They are excused from school one day a month for industry tours.

We will select 2-3 students from each of the 5 high schools; they will not only learn about Robertson County industries but they will get to meet and interact with other students with similar career goals. These students will meet with industry leaders and learn what skills are in high demand.

We are also trying to develop an 8 week internship with these companies that would be available in the summer. Students would work for three days and meet at SHS for the fourth day to complete the WBL portfolio. Students enrolled in the Summer WBL will receive 1 credit upon completion. More information will be shared as we develop this program.

We look forward to hosting you on this journey to learn about opportunities right here in Robertson County for rewarding and well-paid careers in manufacturing.

Kind Regards,
