Service Hour Requirements: There are no service hours required, but each is expected to complete a club service project during the year.  All 4-H members have opportunities for service project participation.

GPA Requirement:  N/A

Club Information:  4‑H empowers young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime. It’s a research-based experience that includes a mentor, a hands-on project, and a meaningful leadership opportunity.  Based on their interest, youth develop their own pathway in 4‑H. They select from a broad menu of local 4‑H programs. There are hands-on, learn-by-doing, opportunities for everyone. 4-H is for any youth in grades 4th – 12th.  It is one of the largest youth organizations in the world.  At Jo Byrns, club meetings are as described above.  Officers are elected in clubs, communications skills and many lifeskills are taught with a strong emphasis on civic-minded leadership.
