Born and raised in Nashville, Josh Lumpkin participated in several sports including football, basketball, and soccer at Goodpasture. He continued his interests in athletics by pursuing a Bachelors in athletic training from Middle Tennessee State University. Josh also completed his Masters degree in sports administration at Western Kentucky University. In his role as the athletic trainer for Jo Byrns High School, Josh maintains his appreciation and passion for athletics: "I love being around sports and being able to help my athletes achieve their goals in their sport."
